The Individual’s Pledge Level II

the Institutional pledge - in which institutions (such as a workplace, a school, a government agency, a membership group of association) pledge not to serve red meat at their sponsored functions.
As an individual, you can choose red meat or not in the cafeteria of your workplace (for example).
The critical distinction is that the diner in the cafeteria is making his or her individual decision about red meat. When you take on Pledge Level Two you might still eat meat occasionally at home or when you go out to a restaurant. The idea of never serving red meat at home makes a statement to your guests. And of course, you will help your guests to think about the problems and issues, and perhaps they, too, will follow your lead!
